Solution
To resolve the problem:
1. Verify that the transceiver module is an HP transceiver module:
Execute the display transceiver interface command to view the vendor name of the transceiver
module.
{ If the vendor name field does not display HP, replace the transceiver module with an HP
transceiver module.
{ If the vendor name field displays HP, perform the following tasks:
− Execute the display transceiver manuinfo interface command to save the transceiver
module information.
− Provide the information to HP Support to verify that the transceiver module is an HP
transceiver module. If the module is not from HP, replace it with an HP transceiver module.
2. Execute the display transceiver interface command to save the transceiver module information,
and contact HP Support to verify that the transceiver module supports the digital diagnosis
function.
