2. Hold the cable connector and pull the pull latch of the connector to remove the cable from the
switch.
Verifying the installation
Before powering on the switch, verify that:
There is enough space around the switch for heat dissipation.
The switch is mounted securely on a sturdy workbench or rack.
The switch is grounded properly, and the grounding cable is connected securely.
The correct power source is used.
The power cords are properly connected.
All the interface cabling is indoors. If any cable is routed outdoors, verify that the socket strip with
lightning protection and lightning arresters for network ports is connected properly.
