Installing a Fan Tray
Follow these steps to install a fan tray:
Step1 Face the front panel of the router.
Step2 Make sure that the CAUTION sign is on the left of the fan tray panel; otherwise the fan tray
cannot be inserted into the fan tray slot.
Step3 Holding the handle of the fan tray with one hand and its bottom with the other hand, gently push
the fan tray into the slot along the slide rails until the fan tray connector well touches the
backplane.

Step4 Turn on the power switch of the router if the router is powered off.
Step5 The fan LED RUN (green) lights up, indicating the fans run normally.
The device supports automatic fan speed adjustment and hot-swapping of the fan tray.
