59 How do I cascade the HUAWEI
Router to HarmonyOS Mesh+ routers?
The HUAWEI router can be cascaded to HarmonyOS Mesh+ routers through
HarmonyOS Mesh+ technology. HarmonyOS Mesh+ supports wireless and wired
connection methods.
Method 1: Wireless connection
Step 1 Congure the rst HUAWEI router to access the Internet and ensure that the
indicator is steady green. This router will serve as your main router, while the
other will serve as your secondary router.
Step 2 Place the secondary router (new or factory reset) near the main router
(recommended within 1 meter), and connect the power supply.
Step 3 Wait approximately 1 minute until the indicator of the main router slowly
ashes,
then press and release the H button, in which the indicator will ash faster. When
the indicator of the secondary router remains steady green, it indicates that the
connection is successful.
NO TE
Press the WPS/RESET button for some routers.
Step 4 Once the connection is successful, the Wi-Fi name and password of the secondary
router should remain the same with those of the main router. You can place the
secondary router where Wi-Fi coverage is needed. For optimal Wi-Fi coverage, it is
recommended that there are no more than two walls in between your main and
secondary router.

Step 1 Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi of the
rst HUAWEI router.
Step 2 Set up the Internet for your rst HUAWEI router and ensure that the indicator
remains steady green. This router will serve as your main router, while the other
will serve as your secondary router.
