SYSTEM)
Always read this section before using the E.C.S.S. in order to enable you to use it safely and effectively.
METHOD OF OPERATING E.C.S.S.
The E.C.S.S. switch is on the left side of the main panel.
When the E.C.S.S. switch is pressed, it is turned on, the pilot lamp
(orange) lights up, and the E.C.S.S. is actuated.
If the switch is pressed again, it is turned off, the pilot lamp goes
out, and the E.C.S.S. is canceled.
PRECAUTIONS WHEN OPERATING E.C.S.S. SWITCH
WARNING
If the machine is traveling or the work equipment is raised, the work equipment will move the moment the E.C.S.S. switch is
turned ON.
The work equipment may move the moment operations are started if the E.C.S.S. switch is at the ON position.
Keep the E.C.S.S. switch turned OFF during operations.
Never turn the E.C.S.S. switch ON during inspection or maintenance. The work equipment will move and this will create a
dangerous situation.
Always stop the machine and lower the work equipment to the ground before operating the E.C.S.S. switch.
When carrying out inspection and maintenance, first lower the work equipment to the ground, then turn the
E.C.S.S. switch OFF before starting the inspection and maintenance operation.
REMARK
If the starting switch is at the OFF position, the E.C.S.S. will not be actuated even if the E.C.S.S. switch is at the
ON position. If the starting switch is at the ON position, it is possible to actuate the E.C.S.S.. If the E.C.S.S.
switch is turned to the ON position, it will switch to the actuated condition.
The E.C.S.S. will not be actuated if the transmission is in 1st or if the travel speed is less than 5 km/h (3.1 MPH).
If the transmission is in 2nd to 4th and the travel speed is more than 5 km/h (3.1 MPH), the swaying of the chassis
is effectively dampened and by the accumulator pressure in accordance with the condition of the load.
