31.3 EI, TI, and DI Precautions
1. Please use EI, TI, and DI only as a guide for image quality management.
2. If ROI recognition is not implemented properly, the correct value may not be calculated. Also, if ROI area has
been changed, the value of EI and DI will be recalculated.
3. The value of EI, TI, and DI will not change even after changing the S value or G value. However, if parts have been
changed, the standard signal value of the relevant parts is used to re-calculate the values.
4. Values specied by manufacturers are included with each part for TI, but please use these numbers only as refer-
ence values. In addition, these values may change depending on academic and other trends.
5. EI, TI, and DI are not displayed for mammography and linac images.
