II. SAFETY
WARNING! Operators must have sufcient knowledge to properly perform diagnostic imaging procedures with
X-ray devices. This knowledge is acquired through a variety of educational methods including clinical working
experience, and as a part of many college and university radiologic technology programs in accordance with
local laws or regulations.
WARNING! Service personnel must have sufcient knowledge to competently perform the service tasks re-
lated to X-ray devices and particularly to the equipment described in this manual. This knowledge is acquired
through a variety of educational methods for technicians in accordance with local laws or regulations, includ-
ing specic training on this equipment.
WARNING! X-ray equipment is potentially dangerous to both patients and operators. Safety measures must be
strictly observed. If the equipment is not used properly it may cause an injury.
WARNING! Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because it
could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other equipment should be
observed to verify that they are operating normally.
WARNING! Use of accessories, transducers, and cables other than those specied or provided by the manu-
facturer of this equipment could result in increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased electromagnetic
immunity of this equipment and result in improper operation.
WARNING! Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna cables and exter-
nal antennas) should be used no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the KDR AU DDR including cables
specied by the manufacturer. Otherwise, degradation of the performance of this equipment could result.
WARNING! Failure to use this equipment in the specied type of shielded location could result in degradation of
the performance of this equipment, interference with other equipment or interference with radio services.
WARNING! This equipment is not to be used with high frequency electrosurgery equipment.
WARNING! This equipment is not to be used with debrillators.
