– Make sure that the steering is unlocked.
– Move the vehicle forward with both hands on the handlebar.
– While the vehicle tips off of the center stand, activate the front brake to stop the vehi-
cle from rolling away.

Check that the center stand

is folded all the way up.
13.3 Removing the passenger seat

Insert the ignition key in seat lock

and turn it clockwise.
– Raise front of the passenger seat, pull toward the tank, and remove upward.

Pay attention to the seat heating cable.
