– Remove the dust cap.
– Check the tire air pressure when the tires are cold.
Tire air pressure, solo/with passenger/full payload
Front: with cold tires 2.4 bar (35 psi)
Rear: with cold tires 2.9 bar (42 psi)
» If the tire pressure does not meet specifications:
– Correct the tire pressure.
– Mount the dust cap.
15.9 Checking spoke tension
Warning
Danger of accidents Instable handling due to incorrect spoke tension.
– Ensure that the spoke tension is correct. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be glad to help.)

A loose spoke can easily cause lateral or radial runout on the wheel. More spokes loosen in a short period.
If the spokes are too tight, they can break due to local overload.
Check the spoke tension regularly, especially on a new motorcycle.
