15.1 Removing the front wheel
Preparatory work
Lift the motorcycle with the rear lifting gear. ( p. 157)
Lift the motorcycle with the front lifting gear. ( p. 158)

Remove screws

from both brake calipers.
Press back the brake linings with a light lateral tilting of the
brake calipers on the brake disc. Pull the brake calipers care-
fully back from the brake discs and hang them to one side.

Do not pull the hand brake lever when the brake caliper
has been removed.

about six turns and press your hand on the
screw to push the wheel spindle out of the axle clamp. Remove
