Secondary Coil Resistance
1. Turn the main switch off,
2. Disconnect the high tension cord from the ignition coil.
3, Disconnect the wirings from the ignition coil,
4, Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the
positive ( + ) terminal and high tension terminal.
5. If the resistance value specified below is not indicated. the
ignition coil is faulty.

Ignition Timing
1. Using a timing light, check that the IG mark (4) on the
flywheel
(1) is aligned with the mark (3) on the rear end plate
(2).
2. If the timing is wrong, loosen the distributor mounting screw
(6) and turn the distributor (5) so that the IG mark on the
flywheel is aligned with the mark on the rear end plate,
0,35 rad. (20°) before

1. Remove the high tension cords and cap.
2. Using a feeler gauge, measure the air gap (A) between the
signal rotor (2) and projection of the signal generator (3).
3. If the measurement is not within the factory specifications,
loosen
the signal generator mounting screw and reinstall the
signal generator (3),
