1.
Unscrew
the
nut
(11),
and
disconnect
the
C
terminal.
2.
Unscrew
the
screws
(9) and through
bolt
(10), and
remove
the
rear end frame (8).
3.
Remove
the
brush holder (7) and armature (3).
4.
Unscrew
the
screws
(20), remove
the
starter drive
housing
(19).

Remove
the
over
running
clutch (18), ball (17),
spring
(16), idle gear (13),
roller
(14) and
roller
bearing (15).
NOTE
Do
not
damage
to
the brush and commutator.
(When reassembling)
Apply
grease
(Nippon
Denso
No.50
or
its
equivalent)
to
the
parts indicated in the figure.
