1. Function
When the pressure sensed by the oil pressure
detection circuit for auto idle control has dropped
below 20 kgf/cm
2
, the contact of the AI switch,
shown at left, gets closed. The microcomputer picks
up the resulting ON signal and sends a command to
the AI motor to reach the engine idling speed. The
idling speed approach is preset to be 4 seconds
after the switch has been turned on by the micro-
computer.
When the control lever is moved, on the other hand,
the pressure in the hydraulic pilot circuit rises. At 25
kgf/cm
2
, the hydraulic pressure pushes the dia-
phragm as shown at left, which opens the contact.
The microcomputer picks up the resulting OFF sig-
nal and raises the engine speed up to the accelera-
tor lever rpm setting.
