Wires to connect to the contact closure sensor.
You need a minimum of 30 cm wires to prevent the contact closure
sensor from being damaged by oor water (if any). Below are the wire
length limitaons:
• Minimum: 30 cm (11.8 inches)•
• Maximum: 150 cm (59 inches)•
How a Floor-mounted Water Sensor Works
The oor-mounted water sensor uses two poles marked with red arrows below to detect the water.
When water is present between the 2 poles, the water sensor will trigger the alarm.
Cable Water Sensor
The cable water sensor is in the shape of a cable so it can be exibly placed, twisted or wrapped around
a locaon where water may drip, such as a ceiling le, water pipe or the oor.
