Wire Rope Installation
Anchoring Wire Rope
Take the free end of the wire rope and insert it through the
small opening on the anchor pocket. Loop the wire rope and
push the free end about 3/4 of the way through the pocket.
Install the wedge, then pull the slack out of the wire rope. The
wedge will fit into the pocket and secure the wire rope into
the drum. The anchor is designed to fit several different sizes
of wire rope. Make sure the anchor is installed large end first.

Refer to (Figure 11-26) and verify that the wedge is installed
correctly.
