Remote control
If you have installed the Miele App on
your mobile device, have access to the
Miele@home system and have activated
the remote control function (On), you
can use the MobileStart function and,
for example, retrieve information on
steam combination oven cooking
programmes currently in progress or to
end a programme in progress.
The steam combination oven requires
max. 2W in networked standby.
Activating MobileStart
 Select the sensor to activate
MobileStart.
The sensor lights up. You can
operate your steam combination oven
remotely with the Miele App.
Directly operating the steam
combination oven takes priority over
operating it via the remote control
function on the App.
You can use MobileStart as long as
the sensor is lit up.
RemoteUpdate
The RemoteUpdatemenu option is only
displayed and can only be selected if
the requirements for using
Miele@home have been met (see
“Before using for the first time –
Miele@home” or “Settings”).
The RemoteUpdate function is used for
updating the software in your steam
combination oven. If an update is
available for your steam combination
oven, it will be downloaded
automatically by your steam
combination oven. Updates will not be
installed automatically. They must be
initiated manually.
If you do not install an update, you can
continue to use your steam
combination oven as usual. However,
Miele recommends installing updates.
Switching on/Switching off
RemoteUpdate is switched on as
standard. Available updates will be
downloaded automatically and will only
be installed if you initiate it.
Switch off RemoteUpdate if you do not
wish any updates to be downloaded.
