The front wiper is a semi-concealed type with the
following features.
• A variable time intermittent wiper under ET
CS
control is used on all models. (Refer to ET
CS for
operation of the variable time intermittent wiper.)
• There is a mist wiper function for more convenience.
• The washer is a 2-nozzle 4-jet type and there is a
level gauge switch to inform by an indicator lamp in
the combination meter that the washer in the washer
tank is low. The rear wiper is used for improved rear

visibility when it rains, etc. It has the following
additional features.
• It uses a fixed time intermittent wiper.
• The washer is a 1-nozzle 2-jet type and there is a
level gauge in the washer tank for easy detection o
the amount of liquid. It is mounted in the right rear o
the cargo compartment.
• The wiper/washer switch is mounted on the right
side of the knee protector. It is a combination
wiper/washer switch and can be operated when the
ignition switch is at ACC or ON.
