1. Hardware Overview
The modem router provides you with an easy and secure way to set up a WiFi home network
with fast Internet access through a coaxial cable and two VoIP telephone lines. The modem
router battery (sold separately) provides up to five hours of talk time and eight hours or idle time
for voice service during a power outage.
The modem router delivers combined WiFi connection speeds. High-powered amplifiers with
antennas provide WiFi coverage anywhere around your home, inside or out.
To set up your new modem router, use the installation guide. This chapter provides supplemental
