16x16Synchronizedtransmissionoperation
The16x16geartransmissionoperatesthroughtheuse
ofaclutchpedal(1)aforward/reverseshuttleshiftlever
(2)maintransmissionshiftlever(3)andarangeselector
lever(4).
Thecombinationsofshuttleshift,mainshift,andrange
selectorleveroffertheoperatoracombinationofsixteen
forwardandsixteenreversegears.
Themaintransmissionshiftlever(3)operatesinaH-pat-
tern.T ochangegearswhileinaselectedrange,depress
theclutchpedalandshiftthemaingearshiftleverintothe
desiredgear.Thetractordoesnothavetobestoppedbe-
causethemainspeedgears(1-4)aresynchronized.
Therangegearshiftleveroperatesinastraightpattern
(1-2-N-3-4)withaneutralpositionbetweensecondand
thirdrange.
NOTICE:Neverattempttoengageordisengagethe
rangeshiftleverwhenthetractorisinmotion.
