Thedraftcontrolleversetsthedesireddepthoftheat-
tachedimplement.Draftcontrolisbestwhenusingim-
plementsthatoperateintheground,suchasplows,har-
rows,orcultivators.Thedraftloadingontheimplement
increasesanddecreasesastheworkingdepthorthesoil
resistancechanges.
Tosetthedraftcontrol,movethepositioncontrollever(2)
toitsfullforwardposition.Thensettheimplementdraft
depthlowerbymovingdraftcontrolleverforward,orset
ithigherbymovingleverrearward.
Implementdepthwillbepromotionaltodraft,depending
onthesoilconditions.Withdraftcontrol,theliftkeepsthe
tractiveeffortsteadyautomatically.
Youcanlimittherangemanualdraftleveroperationby
movingandtighteningthestop(3).

Combineddraftandpositioncontrol
Youcanusedraftandpositioncontroltogethertooper-
ateindraftcontrolbutpreventtheimplementfromsink-
ingexcessivelywhensoilconditionschange.Firstsetthe
draftcontrolleverwiththepositioncontrolleverfullyfor-
ward.Thenmovethepositioncontrolleverbackuntilthe
liftarmsstarttorise.Thepositioncontrolleversetsthe
loweredpositionofthehydrauliclift.

Movethedraftcontrolleverandpositioncontrolleverfully
forward.Thethree-pointlinkagewillnowbefreeto"oat"
orfollowthegroundcontour,afeatureusefulforscraper
blades,etc.
