NOTE:Changetheengineoilandlteraftertherst50hoursofoperation,thenevery300hoursthereafter.Ifthe
tractorisoperatedforextendedperiodsoftimeatmaximumratedpowerandspeed,orunderothertypesofcontinu-
ous,severeoperatingconditions,theengineoilandltershouldbechangedat200hourintervalsfollowingtheinitial
oilchange.
Tochangetheengineoil:
1.Placeasuitablecontainerbeneaththedrainopening
tocatchtheusedoil.Withthetractorengineoffbut
atnormaloperatingtemperature,removethetwodrain
plugs,(1).locatedonbothsidesoftheengineoilpan.
Reinstalltheplugsafteralloftheoilhasbeendrained.

2.Next,placeacontainerbelowtheoillter,(2),tocatch
theusedoilandunscrewtheoillter.Discardtheused
oilandlter.
3.Coatthegasketonthenewlterwithalmofcleanoil.
Screwthelterintoplaceuntilthegasketcontactsits
matingsurface,thenturnthelterapproximatelythree-
quartersofaturnbyhand.Donotovertighten.

4.Addthepropertypeandlevelofnewoilatllport(3),
thenstarttheengineandcheckthelterforleaks.
NOTE:OilCapacity,withlter5.7 l(6.0 USqt)
NOTICE:Useofanyengineoilotherthan(CJ-4)mayclog
the(DPF)earlierthanexpectedandfuelusagemayin-
crease.
