Ifyoumustinateorservicetires,followthesesafety
precautionstoavoidinjuryorfatality:

Makesuretherimiscleanandfreeofrust.
•
Lubricatebothtirebeadsandrimangeswithsoap
solution.Donotuseoilorgrease.
•
Useaclip-ontirechuckwitharemotehoseand
gauge.Thisallowstheoperatortostandclearofthe
tirewhileinating.
•
NEVERINFLATETOOVER241 kPa(35 psi)TO
SEATBEADS.Ifbeadshavenotbeenseatedbythe
timepressurereaches241 kPa(35 psi),deatethe
assembly,repositionthetireontherim,relubricate
bothtirebeadandrimanges,andreinate.Ination
beyond241 kPa(35 psi)withunseatedbeadsmay
breakthebeadorrimwithexplosiveforcesufcient
enoughtocauseseriousinjury.
•
Afterseatingthebeads,adjustinationpressureto
recommendedoperatingpressure.
•
Donotinateatireunlesstherimismountedonthe
tractororissecuredsothatitwillnotmoveifthetire
orrimshouldsuddenlyfail.
•
Donotweld,braze,otherwiserepair,oruseadam-
agedrim.
•
Neverattempttirerepairsonapublicroadorhigh-
way
•
Usejackstandsorothersuitableblockingtosupport
thetractorwhilerepairingtires.
•
Ensurejackhasadequatecapacitytoliftyourtractor.
•
Placejackonarm,levelsurface.
•
Donotplaceanypartofyourbodybeneaththetrac-
tororstarttheenginewhilethetractorisonthejack.
•
Beforeaddingballasttothetires,referto6-2,6-2,
6-4,and9-3.

NOTE:Checkthefrontaxledifferentialcaseandnalre-
ductiongearcaseoillevelafterevery50hoursofoperation.
