tionsthathavehandholds,steps,orladders.
Donotjumpoffthetractor.
Makesuresteps,ladders,andplatformsremainclean
andclearofdebrisandforeignsubstances.Injurymay
resultfromslipperysurfaces.
Facethetractorwhenmountinganddismounting.
Maintainathree-pointcontactwithsteps,ladders,and
handholds.
Nevermountordismountfromamovingtractor.
Donotusethesteeringwheelorothercontrolsoracces-
soriesashandholdswhenenteringorexitingthecabor
operator’splatform.
Workingatheights
Whenthenormaluseandmaintenanceofthetractor
requiresworkingatheights:

Correctlyuseinstalledsteps,ladders,andrailings.

Neveruseladders,steps,orrailingswhilethetractoris
moving.

Donotstandonsurfaceswhicharenotdesignatedas
stepsorplatforms.
Donotusethetractorasalift,ladder,orplatformforwork-
ingatheights.
Liftingandoverheadloads
Neveruseloaderbuckets,forks,etc.orotherlifting,han-
dling,ordiggingequipmenttoliftpersons.
Donotuseraisedequipmentasaworkplatform.
Knowthefullareaofmovementofthetractorandequip-
mentanddonotenterorpermitanyonetoenterthearea
ofmovementwhilethetractorisinoperation.
Neverenterorpermitanyonetoentertheareaunder-
neathraisedequipment.Equipmentand/orloadscanfall
unexpectedlyandcrushpersonsunderneathit.
Donotleaveequipmentinraisedpositionwhileparked
orduringservice,unlesssecurelysupported.Hydraulic
cylindersmustbemechanicallylockedorsupportedif
theyareleftinaraisedpositionforserviceoraccess.
Loaderbuckets,forks,etc.orotherlifting,handling,or
diggingequipmentanditsloadwillchangethecenterof
gravityofthetractor.Thiscancausethetractortotipon
slopesorunevenground.
Loaditemscanfallofftheloaderbucketorliftingequip-
mentandcrushtheoperator.Caremustbetakenwhen
liftingaload.Useproperliftingequipment.
Donotliftloadhigherthannecessary.Lowerloadsto
transport.Remembertoleaveappropriateclearanceto
thegroundandotherobstacles.
Equipmentandassociatedloadscanblockvisibilityand
