to

IS
BSS
(Best Shot Selector)
The "best shot selector"
is
recommended
when
shooting
with
the
flash
off
or
the
camera
zoomed
in,
or
in
other
situations in
which
inadvertent
motion
can result in
blurred pictures.
When
BSS
is
on,
the
camera takes
up
to
10
pictures
while
the
shutter-release
button
is
held
down.
The sharpest picture in
the
series
is
automatically selected and saved.
Multi-shot 16
Each
time
the
shutter-release
button
is
pressed
all
the
way
down,
the
camera takes
16
shots at a rate
of
about
1.4
frames
per second (fps) for L20 and
1.6
fps for L
19,
then
arranges
them
in a single picture. Image
mode
is
locked at III Normal
(3648)
for L20 and
1m!
Normal (3264) for L
19.
Digital
zoom
cannot
be applied.
At
settings
other
than
Single,
the
indicator
for
the
current
setting
is
displayed in
the
monitor

The
maximum frame
rate
with continuous shooting may
vary,
depending upon the current image
mode setting and the memory
card
used.

BSS
BSS may not produce the desired results ifthe subject moves or the composition changes while the
shutter-release button
