Basic Camera Setup: The Setup Menu

You can select the wei come screen to be displayed when the camera is turned on.
None (default setting)
No welcome screen will be displayed.
COOLPIX
Displays a welcome screen.
Select an image
Select a picture in the internal memory or on the memory card for the welcome
screen. Choose a picture in the Select image screen and press @. As the selected
image
is stored in the camera, the image will appear in the welcome screen even if
the original picture is deleted.
Pictures
which are set as 16:9 on Image mode setting ([I) 71) and images smaller
than 320 x 240 edited by
the crop (CD 51) or small picture ([IJ 52) function are not
selectable.
