Maintenance and Storage of the Product
This chapter describes how to maintain and store the product.
Maintaining the product in an improper manner may affect its performance. Maintain this product according to
the instructions described in this chapter.
4.1 Cleaning the Product
Clean this product as follows.
Tools to be used for cleaning
• Silicone cloth
• Soft cloth such as gauze and cotton cloth
• Neutral detergent
• Medicinal alcohol
• Fingerstalls, gloves, etc.
CAUTION
• Note that the medicinal alcohol used for decontamination is highly flammable. Care must be taken
when handling the alcohol and when turning the power switch on and off, and take all necessary
fire precautions.
• Handle medicinal alcohol according to the precautions provided by the manufacturer.
• Do not use organic solvent (such as alcohol, ether, and thinner) for cleaning coated parts, plastic
parts, or printed parts. Doing so may cause discoloration of plastic parts or removal of printed
characters.
• If organic solvent such as medicinal alcohol is used, make sure to wear fingerstalls or gloves to
avoid touching the solvent with bare skin.
