K 2-10 Drive Mode (j/Y/i)
Silent-Mode Options (Silent s Mode Settings)
Choose whether to enable [8], [AF Illuminator], or [Flash Mode] in silent mode.
Select [Allow] to use current settings for the selected item, [Not Allow] to ignore
current settings and disable the selected item.

Choose whether to use the settings currently selected for [8] in G Custom
Menu S (P. 527).
AF Illuminator
Choose whether to use the settings currently selected for [AF Illuminator] in
G Custom Menu L (P. 490).
Flash Mode Choose whether to use current fl ash settings (P. 254).
1 Press the MENU button to display the menus.
2 Highlight [Anti-Shock r/Silent s] in X Shooting
Menu 2 and press I on the arrow pad.
3 Highlight [Silent s Mode Settings] using the FG
buttons and press the I button.
• [Silent s Mode Settings] options will be displayed.
4 Highlight the desired item using the FG buttons
and press the I button.
5 Highlight [Allow] or [Not Allow] using the FG
buttons and press the OK button.
• Repeat Steps 4 and 5 as required.
6 Press the MENU button repeatedly to exit the
menus.
