9-3-2 Checking for Errors from Support Software Other
Than the Sysmac Studio
Open the Sysmac Studio’s Controller Event Log tab page to check the following information on past
errors: times, levels, sources, sour
ce details, event names, event codes, details, attached information 1
through 4, and corrections.
Number of Logs of Past Errors
Event logs in the Communications Interface Units are stored in the CPU Unit or Communica-
tions Coupler Unit to which they are connected.
Refer to the user's manual for the connected CPU U
nit or Communications Coupler Unit for
details on the amount of event logs that are stored in the Unit.
Refer to the troubleshooting manual for the connected CPU Unit or Industrial PC and the Sysmac
Studio Version 1 Operation Manual (Cat. No. W504) for the items that you can check and the
procedures to check for errors.
Refer to 9-3-3 Event Codes for Errors and Troubleshooting Procedures on page 9-6 for details on event
codes.
You can check the error descriptions and logs with Support Software other than the Sysmac Studio. For
