RayNetconnection.
FitaferritetoeachRayNetcableasshownbelow:
Cableclips(notsupplied)shouldbeusedtosupportthecableandferrite .
Ifyouneedtoremoveaferriteforanyreason,ensureitisreplacedinits
originallocationbeforeusingtheproduct.
Iftheferritemovesfreelyoncefittedusecableties(notsupplied)above
andbelowtheferritetosecureitinplace.
10.4PoweroverEthernet(PoE)
Y ourdisplayisaPSE(PowerSourcingEquipment)whichsuppliespower
overthenetworkconnectionstoconnectedPoEpowereddevice(PD).The
displaycanoutputamaximumof32Watts(26W@PD)forconsumptionby
upto3PoEpowereddevices.

Whenadeviceisconnectedtothenetworkconnectionitisinterrogatedto
establishifthedeviceisaPoEpowereddeviceandifsowhatclassofdevice
itis.Themaximumpowerforthatdeviceclass(showninthePSEcolumn
above)isthenassignedtothatnetworkconnectionanddeductedfromthe
remainingpoweroutput(e.g.class2device=7Wallocated,25Wremaining).
IfaPoEpowereddeviceisconnectedthatwilltakethetotalassignedpower
over32W(26W@PD)thenthedevicewillnotbeallocatedPoEpower.
PoweroverEthernet(PoE)connections
ThedisplaycanpowerPoEdevicesbyconnectingthemusinganetwork
cabletooneofthedisplay’sNETWORKPOEOUTconnectors,locatedon
therearofthedisplay.
Intheexamplebelow,thecombinedpowerrequirementsofthe3PoE
devicesdoesnotexceedthe32wattsthedisplayhasavailable.All3devices
canthereforebepoweredbythedisplay,viaPoE.
