ofnearbytargets.Itmaybenecessarytocompensateforthebowrisetoensureoptimumtarget
detection.Thiscanbeachievedbyfittingawedgeorwashersbetweenthemountingplatformand
thebaseoftheRadarscanner,sothattheRadarbeamremainsparalleltothewaterlinewhenthe
vessel'sbowrisesatcruisingspeed.
