FORMATTING A CARD
The supplied card must be formatted with this camera. In addition, a card
must be formatted with this camera:
œ After purchasing, when used for the first time, or
œ If it was formatted using a personal computer or another digital camera.
For more information on handling the cards, see “Cautions when handling the
cards” on page 18.
The card cannot be reformatted if the write-protect tab is set to the “LOCK”
position. Proceed with the reformat procedure after setting the tab to the
unlocked position (see page 19).

Display the Option Setting Mode
Screen (see page 103).

Select the reformat icon ö.

Press the SET button.
œ The Reformat Screen appears.

Select “YES”.
