QUICK START FOR CAPTURING IMAGES
Install the batteries
Make sure that the batteries’ polarities ((+) and (–)) are correct.
CAUTION
Manganese batteries cannot be used
œ Not only do manganese batteries have a short battery life, but there is the
danger of their overheating and causing damage to the digital camera.
Other batteries
œ If you wish to use batteries other than the alkaline batteries
(LR6), we recommend the following.
œ
AA-size nickel metal hydride batteries (SANYO HR-3UA)
x 2
œ
AA-size Ni-Cd batteries (SANYO N-3USX) x 2
œ
Lithium battery (CR-V3) x 1
When installing the batteries, make sure that they are oriented correctly.
Do not open the battery compartment cover when the camera is turned
on.
œ If the battery compartment cover is opened while the power is on, important
data may be lost. Sanyo Electric shall not be held responsible for any
losses that result from failure to comply with this warning.
Open battery compartment cover
on the camera bottom.
Insert the batteries.
Close the battery compartment
cover.
œ To remove the batteries...
