5.4 Daily cleaning with Milk Smart
Read the information given in the user manual carefully as it contains important information regarding
safety, hygiene, use and maintenance of the machine.
During the automatic cleaning never reach into the machine or under the beverage outlets.
You have the following cleaning possibilities:
1. Automatic rinsing = Self starting (programmed)
2. Manual rinsing = Press the
button once
3. Milk tube rinsing = Press the
button twice (rinse duration: approx 10 sec.)
4. Complete cleaning = Press the
button for 5 seconds (procedure described as follows):

z Remove the expander [ 1 ].
z Do not remove the tubes from the
squeezer valve [ 2 ].

z Clean air intake on the expander with
the supplied instrument (pencil).
z Pull off the tube [ 1 ].
z Remove the cappuccinatore [ 2 ]
and wash in warm water.

z Press the button (for 5 sec.).

z Pull out the grounds container (within
5 sec.) and clean it.

z Attach the cappuccinatore.
z Replace the grounds container.
