5. Insert the new adapter module for the removable tray ⑤ into the drive bay ⑥ from the
front and snap it into place at the back.
Check the following:
– The adapter module
⑤ is straight in the drive cage and flat at the back as highlighted.
– All centering openings
⑧ of the adapter module lie in the centering pins ⑦.
– The adapter module is clipped in behind the latches
⑨ as highlighted.
– All adapter modules lie exactly underneath each other, vertically aligned, when viewed
from above.
6. Mount the required slot covers or removable trays again from step 4.
7. Insert the cover
③ into the front of the device.
8. Connect the SATA cables to the required SATA connectors of the motherboard and to the
new adapter module
⑤.
9. Connect the power supply.
10.Install the corresponding removable tray with mounted hard drive or SSD and lock it (see
previous section).
11.Close the device.
