10.7 Use the lid for the filler
opening
Simultaneously, the measuring beaker35 is
used to close the lid of the blender jug5 and
to measure ingredients.
• In order to close the blender jug5,
place the measuring beaker35 with the
opening at the bottom into the lid34
and lock it in place by turning it clock-
wise.
CAUTION:
~ Prior to removing the measuring beak-
er35, you must reduce the speed to set-
ting 1, 2 or 3, so that no food can be
ejected.
• In order to fill in ingredients, the measur-
ing beaker35 can be removed briefly.
• To measure ingredients, turn the measur-
ing beaker35 upside down and fill in
the food. The values can be read in ml
from the outside.
10.8 Cooking and steaming
with the cooking pot
1. Fill at least 500 ml of water into the
blender jug5
. Only fill so much water
into the blender jug 5 that the maximum
filling volume of 2.2 litres will not be ex-
ceeded when the food is added.
- If the entire food is covered by water,
it will be cooked.
- If the food is not completely covered
by water, it will be steamed.
2. Fill food into the cooking pot30.
NOTE: Always make sure that the filling lev-
el does not exceed the marking MAX.
3. Place the cooking pot30 into the blend-
er jug5.
4. Close the blender jug5 with the lid34
and the measuring beaker35.
5. Use the main switch6 to switch on the
device.
6. Use the timer 26 to set the desired
time.
7. Use the temperature controller  17 to
set the desired temperature, e.g. 100°C
for cooking.
The display27 shows the time set and the
selected temperature.
8. Select the speed setting 1 for an even
distribution of the heat in the water.
9. Press the button START/STOP19. The
device starts to operate.
10.After the set time has elapsed, the de-
vice stops and the illumination of the
button goes off.
11.After several seconds, the LED 15
goes out and an audio signal sounds.
The device can be opened.
12.Press the main switch6 to switch off the
device.
