8. When the espresso LED26 is continu-
ously lit, press the espresso
button 25.
9. Run approx. 250 ml of descaling solu-
tion through it.
10. Press the espresso button 25 again
to stop.
11. Empty the container and place it under
the steam nozzle8.
12. Wait until the espresso LED26 is con-
tinuously lit again.
13. Turn the dial5 to the symbol and
press the espresso button 25 again.
14. Run approx. 250 ml of descaling solu-
tion through it.
15. Press the espresso button 25 again
to stop.
16. Set the dial5 to OFF.
17. Leave the descaling solution in the de-
vice for 15 minutes.
18. Repeat this process.
Rinsing process
1. Remove the water tank3 and pour
away any excess descaling solution.
2. Rinse the water tank3 several times
with clean water.
3. Fill the water tank3 with fresh, cold tap
water up to the MAX marking and in-
sert it.
4. Carry out the two rinsing operations
(same as for the descaling solution)
with 500 ml of water each for both the
brewing head13 and the steam noz-
zle8.
5. To finish, fill the water tank3 with fresh,
cold tap water up to the MAX mark-
ing.
The device heats up again and is then ready
to make espresso.
17. Storage and
transport
DANGER for children!
 Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
 Do not expose the device to tempera-
tures below the freezing point.
• Leave the cleaned espresso machine and
the cleaned accessories to dry before you
assemble them and put them away.
• If you want to transport the espresso
machine or if you will not be using it for
a long time, empty the water tank3
and the drip tray12.

tive 2012/19/EC. The sym-
bol showing a wheelie bin
crossed through indicates
that the product requires sep-
arate refuse collection in the European Un-
ion. This applies to the product and all
accessories marked with this symbol. Prod-
ucts identified with this symbol may not be
discarded with normal household waste, but
must be taken to a collection point for recy-
cling electric and electronic appliances.
This recycling symbol marks
e.g. an object or parts of the
material as valuable for recy-
cling. Recycling helps to re-
duce the consumption of raw
materials and protect the environment.

When disposing of the packaging, make
