• This is normal. This is a protective function. Turn the
dial5 back to OFF and disengage the espresso
button 25 during hot water extraction. Check that
there is enough water in the water tank3. When the
device has heated up again, the function can be used
again.

• After the steam extraction, the temperature is still too
hot to make a delicious espresso. The device cools
down. You can speed up this cooling process (see
“Accelerating the cooling process” on page 67).
