4. Loosen the seat supports and slide the fuel tank for-
ward.
NOTE: The fuel line does not have to be disconnected.
5. Remove the fan from the input shaft pulley.

Removal
1. Remove the seat deck. (See Seat Deck Removal)
2. Elevate the rear end. (See Elevating Rear End for
Safe Service)
3. Remove the rear wheels. (See Rear Wheel
Removal)
8. Remove the belt guide bolt and left mounting strap
from the left side of the frame.
