1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunitsanddisengage
thePTO.Removethemaindriveshaftanddisconnectthemachine
fromthetowvehicle.Securethemachinewithtowbarjack;refertothe
Groundsmaster1200Operator’sManual.
2.Disconnectthemaindriveshaftfromthecentergearbox;refertoRemoving
theMainDriveShaft(page5–3).
3.Disconnectthecuttingunitdriveshaftsfromthecentergearbox;referto
RemovingtheCuttingUnitDriveShafts(page5–5).
4.Removethe4bolts(1)and4washers(4)thatsecurethecentergearbox
assembly(3)totheframe(2).
5.Removethecentergearboxassembly(3)fromtheframe(2).Drainthe
lubricantfromthecentergearbox.
