Batch File Capture Mode
Batch mode enables both captured TIF and PDF files to be processed into a variety of output
file formats for multiple users.
Users can be given access to any of the 15 output file formats, determined by the configuration
of the output folder options. Converted files can also be sent to specified email address.
Folder Configuration
The folder configuration for batch mode is shown in the following image:
When a user is added, and their associated output file formats selected, a user folder is created
in the appropriate Format subfolder.
Batch Mode Process
Files are scanned to the appropriate folder. e-BRIDGE Re-Rite polls the folders, and converts
the TIF and PDF files according to the name of the parent folder. Converted files remain in the
user folder unless the folder name is an email address, in which case the converted file is
delivered via email.
Lookup Rules are not applicable to Batch Processing.
The destination output will remain valid unless overridden by other settings according to
the configuration hierarchy (example Metascan, Filename, etc).
