ile Processing
e-BRIDGE Re-Rite offers four processing configuration levels: Process Rules, Lookup, File
and MetaScan level.
When a file is processed, e-BRIDGE Re-Rite checks first if there is an XML file that goes with
the scanned file in the source folder. If it contains incomplete parameters, the file name is
checked for configuration parameters. If the name contains incomplete parameters or has no
parameter, the source folder is checked for a corresponding lookup rule. If there are no
matching lookup rules, then the process rule base parameters apply.
Process Rules
The process rules parameters are defined using the BATCH, FOLDER or EMAIL process rule
settings in the e-BRIDGE Re-Rite Web control panel. This is the default configuration for all file
conversions.
Lookup
The lookup parameters are defined at folder level. Naming/renaming a folder to an existing
lookup rule will apply a custom configuration.
Use the Lookup in the navigation tree of the e-BRIDGE Re-Rite Web control panel to specify the
custom configuration values to be used.
File
File level parameters are defined by the file name and override both Lookup and Process Rule
settings.
File name format:
original file name{language}{output file format,PDF security options,PDF owner password,PDF
user password}{output file name}{delivery rule_delivery route}{Split type Split value}.tif
The parameters must be entered in the correct order, including white space and empty brackets
(empty brackets mean the default value for that parameter will be used).
