Volkswagen CC 2012 User Manual

– Detach exhaust system bracket from subframe -arrows-.
– First unscrew bolt -1-.
– Then remove bolts -2- and -3-.
– Remove pendulum support.
Caution
The racks - 10 - 222 A /1- must not be placed on the bolted on
sheet metal of the wings. These may otherwise be damaged.
– Tighten shackle - 10 - 222 A /12- on right lifting eye.
– Fit support bracket - 10 - 222 A- with rack - 10 - 222 A /1- as
shown and take up weight of engine in installation position at
right lifting eye.
– Unscrew bolt -2- and lay filler neck -1- for washer fluid reservoir
to front.
– Unscrew bolts -5- and lay coolant expansion tank with hoses
connected on engine.
