Counter-hold tool - T10044-
Removing:
Note
To prevent irreparable damage to the dual-mass flywheel, do not
unscrew the bolts -B- using a pneumatic/impact screwdriver. It is
only permissible to remove the bolts -B- by hand.
Rotate dual-mass flywheel -A- so that bolts -B- align centrally
with the holes -arrows-.
When removing bolts -B-, make sure that screw heads do not
jam on flywheel.
Tighten counterhold - T10044- on cylinder block with washer
-arrow-. Bring counterhold - T10044- to -position A- to loosen
flywheel.
Mark position of flywheel in relation to engine.
Unscrew flywheel.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following.
Renew bolts.
Bring counterhold - T10044- to -position B- to tighten flywheel.
Bolted connection Torque setting
Flywheel to crankshaft 60 Nm + turn
90° further
2.3 Renewing crankshaft oil seal (gearbox
end)
Special tools and workshop equipment required
