x Open the luggage compartment lid, Luggage compartment lid.
x Upper edge of the luggage compartment trim on the right-hand side: pull plastic strip ⇒ fig. 169 A
(1) in the direction of the arrow. The plastic strip will come out of the bracket.
x Fold down the luggage compartment trim panel A
(2).
x Fold down the luggage compartment side trim panel A
(3). This may require some force.
x Pull release pin ⇒
fig. 170 A (1) in the direction of the arrow towards the housing (2). The fuel filler
flap is released when release flange B
(1) is pushed/pulled in the direction of the servo housing (2).
x After releasing the fuel filler flap, fold the luggage compartment trim panels back into place and
reattach the plastic strip.
