Purpose

Thiscommandenablesordisablestheportprotectionfunction.

setport<portlist>protect{enable|disable}

enableEnablestheportprotectionfunction.

disableDisablestheportprotectionfunction.

Guidelines

Aftertheportprotectionfunctionisenabled,whenthenumberofdowntimesisgreater

thanorequalto3within30seconds,theportwillbeblockedforaprotectionperiod.After

theprotectionperiodexpires,theportbecomesactiveagain.

Default

Theportprotectionfunctionisdisabled.

Example

Thefollowingexampleenablestheportprotectionfunctionforports1,5,6,7,and11:

zte(cfg)#setport1,5-7,11protectenable
