Back and Front
Panels
Figure 3 shows the back panel of the SuperStack II bridge/router.

Figure 4 shows the front panel of the model 4xx bridge/router and the
model 5xx bridge/router.
Memory 8 MB flash memory and 16 MB DRAM.
Serial ports Two (model 4xx) or four (model 5xx) Flex-WAN
serial ports that can connect to RS-232, V.35,
RS-449, X.21, or RS-530 interfaces. See “Serial
Connectors and Flex-WAN Cables” on page 45 for
information about Flex-WAN cables.
Boundary routers
(model 4xx only)
One active serial or WAN port. The remaining two
ports can be used for back-up.
