Installation, chip protection
The procedure below details how to install the chip protection on the lower arm of
the robot.

DANGER
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and
pneumatic pressure supplies to the robot!

As shown in the figure Location of chip
protection on page 88.
Place the chip protection around the lower
arm.

Art. no. is detailed in Required equipment
on page 88.
Fit the bracket on the chip protection with
its attachment screws - two screws on each
side of the lower arm.

Lock screws with locking liquid.
As shown in the figure Location of chip
protection on page 88.
Let the protection hang down in front of
the lower arm and base of the robot.
