Checking the electrolyte level
(04_16)
To check electrolyte level:
•
Lift the fuel tank.
•
Keep the vehicle upright with
both wheels on the ground.
•
Check that the coolant level is
between the two MIN' and
'MAX' notches stamped on the
battery side.
Otherwise:
•
Remove the battery.
•
Remove the cells caps.
CAUTION
USE ONLY DISTILLED WATER TO
TOP-UP ELECTROLYTE FLUID. DO
NOT EXCEED THE «MAX» MARK
SINCE THE LEVEL INCREASES DUR-
ING RECHARGE.
Controle van het elektrolytpeil
(04_16)
Voor de controle van het peil handelt men
als volgt:
•
Hef de brandstoftank op.
•
Hou het voertuig verticaal en
met de twee wielen op de grond.
•
Controleer of het vloeistofpeil
zich tusen de twee 'MIN' en
'MAX' strepen bevindt, die op de
zijkant van de accu gedrukt zijn.
Anders handelt men als volgt:
•
Verwijder de accu.
•
Verwijder de doppen van de ele-
menten.
LET OP
VOOR HET BIJVULLEN VAN DE ELEK-
TROLYTVLOEISTOF, GEBRUIKT MEN
ENKEL GEDISTILLEERD WATER.
OVERSCHRIJD NOOIT DE «MAX» RE-
FERENTIE, OMDAT HET PEIL TIJ-
DENS HET LADEN STIJGT.
