REMOVING THE FAIRING UPPER

FRONT COVERS

[Release and remove the two screws

(1).

[Release and remove the retaining

screw (2).

[Pull the side fairing apart gently to

release the cover.

CAUTION

Handle plastic and paint-finished parts

with care to avoid scratching or

damage.

REMOVING THE REAR-VIEW

MIRRORS

◆ Disconnect the direction indicator

cables.

◆ Release and remove the two nuts (3)

and collect the washers (4).

◆ Ease off the rear-view mirror (5) paying

attention to the electrical connector.

CAUTION

Handle plastic and paint-finished parts

with care to avoid scratching or

damage.

◆ Remove the rear-view mirror (5).

NOTE Repeat process for the other

mirror.

CAUTION

On refitting, adjust the rear-view mirrors

and tighten the nuts to secure them

firmly in place.

After refitting:

◆ Set the rear-view mirrors at the correct

angle.
