REMOVING THE FRONT FAIRING

◆ Place the vehicle on the stand, see page

60 (PLACING THE VEHICLE ON THE

STAND).

◆ Turn the ignition switch to position "".

◆ Remove the rear-view mirrors, see page

83 (REMOVING THE FAIRING UPPER

FRONT COVERS).

◆ Release the four plastic rivets (1) using a

flat-blade screwdriver.

◆ Release and remove the screw (2) in the

centre.

CAUTION

Do not overtighten the screw (2) on

refitting, as it sits on plastic.

[Release and remove the snap-on

fasteners (3) securing the front fairing to

the side fairings.

[Disconnect the two connectors (4) on

either side of the front fairing.

[Disconnect the connector (5) on either

side of the front fairing.

◆ Detach the front fairing (6) complete with

headlight.

CAUTION

Make sure to refit the electrical

connectors (4) and (5) to the matching

connectors on assembly.

CAUTION

Handle plastic and paint-finished parts

with care to avoid scratching or

damage.

After refitting:

◆ Set the rear-view mirrors at the correct

angle.
